This Didn't Start With a Website

For more than a year, something has been quietly taking shape in West Bartlesville.

Long before there was a website, there were conversations.

While participating in the City's Endeavor 2045 comprehensive planning process, I had the opportunity to listen as residents, business owners, and community stakeholders shared their hopes for Bartlesville's future.

Those conversations answered a lot of questions.

But they left me with one of my own.

If so much planning had already been done, why hadn't lasting change followed?

After the meetings ended, I kept asking questions.

I met with longtime residents.

Business owners.

Entrepreneurs.

Property owners.

Investors.

Community leaders.

With every conversation, another piece of the story came into focus.

Eventually, those conversations became more than research.

They became the foundation for Experience West Bartlesville.

This website doesn't start the work.

It simply opens the door for everyone else to join the conversation.
